About Us

We work by hand. Setting up the keel and moulds, spiling and hanging the planks, fastening and fairing, fitting out, step by step, by eye. It is skilled, patient work, and that is exactly where the difference from a moulded boat lies.

We are a small boatyard, where wooden boats are still built and restored by hand. To us a boat is more than a hull: built to a fair line and cared for, it is used and loved for years, and often handed on. That is what our work is about.

We enjoy repair and restoration. Bringing a tired old boat back to the water, sound and fair again, is honest and satisfying work.
